400g raw king prawns, in the shells or with tails on
5 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp fresh red chillies, finely chopped
½ small bunch parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp sweet smoked paprika
½ tsp hot smoked paprika
4 tbsp olive oil
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
Lemon slices, for skewers
Lemon wedges, to serve
Time: 40 minutes
Method
Whisk the garlic, chilli, parsley, both types of paprika, olive oil and the juice and zest of the lemon together. Coat the prawns in the marinade and season well.
Cover, place in the fridge and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Thread the prawns onto the skewers, adding a lemon wedge between every couple of prawns, with 4-5 prawns on each skewer.
Place the skewers in the Doori and cook for 5 minutes, until the prawns are cooked and the shells are charred.
