    Love my Doori

    I absolutely love my Doori and find it very easy to use and great results whatever I try. Even the recipes are very good and easy to follow. Well done all at the Doori team.

    Brilliant addition to our outside kitchen

    Absolutely love our Doori. The meat is so succulent. First cook was chicken tandoori following the recipe on the leaflet and it was perfect. Second cook, we had some big pieces of beef and skewered one and put rest on the bbq grill that I purchased as well. All were cooked really well and interestingly the skewered piece was the best. Had a bbq flavour and just a little more moist. Heats up really quickly, holds the heat well. A total fan , 100% recommend, so much fun. We live in France and our French friends think it's amazing.

    Just love my Doori! These days the gas BBQ only gets used for a quick mid-week cook. If it's the weekend, it's Doori time! My favourite is Tandoori Chicken Thighs using BitSpicy's Tandoori mix. Can't wait to give the wide skewers and the naan pan a go.

    Spotted this at a bbq festival and a few rum punches later I fell in love…..and to be fair she looked even better the next day…..
    Great cooking and the food has been brilliantly and she is a great talking point and everyone wants to get involved…so more time to relax for me…..can highly recommend!!

    A great alternative to a traditional barbecue

    Got the launch bundle through the Kickstarter campaign. It lives up to its billing - heats up quickly and can cook things rapidly, and it's mostly fun using the skewers. It also works well for toasted marshmallows if you put the skewers horizontally across the top of the Doori.

    The launch bundle is excellent too - the apron and gloves in particular are well insulated, and tough enough for outdoor cooking.

    My main (and fairly minor) gripes are that it burns fuel faster than a regular barbecue, so you need to plan on including more from the outset as it's difficult to refuel it mid cooking, and that things tend to slide off the skewers if you're not careful. It would be great to have some skewer spikes or stoppers that you could add to ensure everything stays in place.
